Michigan CardioVascular Institute is pleased to offer BLS/CPR training to medical professionals and the community.  The classes are taught by Kim Pawlanta, RN, BSN.  She is a BLS instructor certified by the American Heart Association.

The classes offered are as follows:

BLS:  This training is offered to healthcare providers as an initial class or as a renewal.  The class size is limited to 10 people and will be 3-4 hours long.  There is a small fee of $40 per person. BLS cards are good for 2 years.

Heartsaver Class:  This training is for those in the community that want to know the basics of CPR. In the event of a family or community emergency, those trained are able to help until EMR arrives. The class size is limited to 10 people and will be about 2 hours long. There is a small fee of $30 per person. Heartsaver cards are good for 2 years.
