Robert N. Jones, MD

A thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon, Robert N. Jones, M.D. is an undergraduate of Williams College and a 1976 graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.  He has been with MCVI since 1987.  Dr. Jones is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.  He obtained his general and cardiothoracic training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.  His interests are surgery for the failing heart, great vessel reconstruction and thoracic oncology.
