Objective:
To compare the rates of stomach ulcers and stomach bleeding that occurs when taking either CGT-2168 (the new combination drug) and aspirin or Plavix® (a drug to prevent blood clots) and aspirin. The study doctors will also monitor both the safety of the new drug, and whether it works effectively as a combination treatment for blood-clotting and digestive tract disorders.
